This is the best printer I have ever owned, in the past I have always purchased the ink jet printers but this time I decided to go for a black & white laser printer, well I am still on the original drum and I have printer out a ton of pages. The ink never dries up like I had with ink jet printers. For me it was an excellent investment.

This printer is fantastic. I’ve only been using it for two days but connecting to the Wi-Fi was so easy. The print quality is excellent. As long as it continues to work the way it is I will be so happy. My only thought is that the scan lid is so light it feels cheap compared to the rest of the product. this printer is fantastic. My only though is that the scan lid is so light it feels cheap compared to the rest of the product. With that being such a small issue I would completely purchase this product again and recommend it to anybody who’s looking for an inexpensive laser printer

I bought this because I’m tired of being gouged on the price of inkjet ink. I have a large format plotter that can output colour if and when I need it so a b & w laser for everyday printing and copying makes sense for us. This was a breeze to set up on our iMacs, is fast, quiet, has a small footprint and prints very sharp text. The scanner is colour capable and quality is good. It’s not so great on printing photographs but that’s a feature we need very infrequently. Time will tell what the savings on ink will be but I’m optimistic.

Admittedly this is my first laser printer, but I could not be happier with this one. It's fast, responds well to our phones (both iPhone and Android) over wifi, and the quality is fantastic. Collectively, my wife and I have owned every brand of ink printer and they are universally disappointing in at least one aspect. This doesn't do colour, but that doesn't matter to us at this point. We've used the scanner the least, though we do know it works. The copier function wasn't something we thought we'd use but we did end up using it a couple times and it was so easy. If you don't need colour I highly recommend this printer!

For years I was a loyal HP customer for laser printers. But then I migrated to Brothers and have found them to be absolute workhorses. I like to save by using third party toner and when, after I can't remember how many reams of paper I have pushed through it, my DCP-L2540DW started to have paper jams with thicker paper, I looked for an alternative which would accept third party toners.
The HL-L2395DW doesn't have the paper feed but I rarely used that feature. It sits nicely under my desk on a small printer table that can roll out if necessary. It works good with the third party toners available on Amazon. After years of reliable service from my Brothers' printers, I wanted to give them a shout out in appreciation and as a guide to anyone who wants a good laser printer that accepts third party toner.

After only limited use, I can say that the quality is good and I like the duplex feature of copying both sides.

It is good printer.

I don't use it every day but when I need to it is so convenient to scan or print documents wireless to or from my laptop. It was highly rated on Consumer Reports when I bought it and I'm not disappointed.
