Amazing fitness workout but you MUST follow the plan

Posted by Gettinborednow on 2020 Dec 9th

Amazing fitness DVD. I'd seen the adverts years and years ago and always thought it looks a great way to get in shape but back then it was like a £99 crazy price. Few weeks ago I was struggling to motivate myself at the gym and thought I'd give it a go. I've had people say is does/doesn't work and it's good but not like they make it look. My opinion...no it may not take you from looking like Danny DeVito to Arnold Schwarzenegger, the people in DVD are already fit people so don't be silly and think you'll look like them right away. You DO have to have some sort of fitness to get through each DVD. Don't worry about not being able to do each move though just do what you can and you will get better. Fact is this fitness DVD DOES work 100%...but you MUST follow most of the food plan and do it as often as you can (6/7 days iff possible) and eat more including protein and carbs. If you do this it will work and you'll feel amazing. If you eat rubbish and do the DVD 3 times a week...nothing much will happen.

    Good

Loving it so far! For the first month the average workouts are around 40 minutes which isn’t bad at all, especially since there’s cool down/stretching time included. To do this program you really have to be mentally committed, but I think it’ll definitely be worth it! Week One: Was very challenging to keep up with them so I focused on my form and pushing myself 100%. I figure if I don’t give it my all, I won’t get the results that I want so I went for it! After I completed each workout I felt amazing afterwards, when I work out with Shaun T in the morning, I feel like I conquer the day. I love that it doesn’t require any equipment at all, and to be honest you don’t need that much space either. Rather than listening to the audio, I turn it on silent and turn on my sound bar to listen to my own music. That keeps my energy up & this way I won’t get bored of listening to the same things for the next couple of months. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that this week was full of sore muscles. Week Two: The two most notable things for this week were that I definitely gained more endurance and strength, and I also managed to gain a good 4 pounds. I felt like I had so much more energy during week two workouts, and my body felt stronger already. The 4 pounds I gained had me so confused so I did some searching online to see what the cause may be. A BB coach mentioned some other people asked her the same thing and that for the first 30 days you’re gaining muscle, but still have the same layers of fat. I think this is why the last 30 days of Insanity are kicked up so much. So I’m not going to worry so much about the extra pounds, and make sure I’m getting enough greens in! ***Fit Test Update: Here are my results from Day 1 Versus Day 15 Switch Kicks: 24 vs 44 Power Jacks: 57 vs 63 Power Knees: 70 vs 90 Power Jumps: 25 vs 40 Globe Jumps: 5 vs 8 Suicide Jumps: 12 vs 14 Push-up Jacks (knee push ups instead) 14 vs 19 Low-Plank Obliques 38 vs 46 All gains, I’m happy :) I’ll post updates after this week.

The hardest and best workout you'll do.

Posted by sidona on 2020 Dec 9th

You will get quick results with this workout series if you actually DO IT. You'll be very sore the first 2 weeks but then you'll hit your stride and you'll start to get stronger and people will notice. Its hard!!! But anything worth doing always is. I love that while it is cardio intensive, you build a lot of core strength. It will be hard on your knees so take it easy those first few weeks especially if you dont work out much. Ease into it and be ok to skip a day or two, but keep with it.
