    satisfied!!

I'm very happy with the package price... even though I did mistake the Oscillating tool in the picture for a Cordless Grinder lol ...I was a little upset upon opening my package after a quick arrival. Until I figured out the uses of the Oscillating tool, which is actually very handy

The freedom of no cords is amazing!

I fell in love on my first day with this kit. I previously had all these tools, but corded versions and was sick if the hassle of untangling and tripping over them all day. I have a couple 20v batteries already, so I don’t really pay attention to battery life, but if you’re doing any kind of demo and remodel I’d make sure you had more than the 2 that come with the kit. All the tools in the kit are Max XR, so you know they function great.

Should have bought these years ago

Great purchase. I have been impressed with all of the tools, I mean it’s Dewalt. Battery life has been exceptional. I debated about whether I should get the oscillating tool, but so glad I did, I’ve used it way more than I thought I would. Circular saw is a bit heavy but is not a problem now after a few uses. I’ve even been surprised by how much I like the flashlight. Looking forward to adding to the collection.

    Beefy, High Quality, Tools

Posted by tigertimmy on 2022 Aug 7th

This tool pack was a replacement for a 20year old 18v Dewalt pack that has served me so well. These tools are so much better in every way. They are not as heavy, but significantly more powerful. The guides and ergonomics of the tools are significantly better too. Many people have complained that the circular saw is "left handed". I am right handed, and have had no trouble with it. Speaking of the circular saw, I love the auto-brake feature (release the trigger and it stops nearly immediately). I also love the fact that these tools are USA made. That means something to me! It's clear these tools were built for someone who will put more miles on them than I will, but it's nice having tools I know will go the distance with me.

Long Lasting Tools - Worth the $

Posted by Mandy on 2022 Aug 7th

What can I say, I bought my last combo set in 2002 when I started in the trades and I still have it today. My charger finally broke on that set and instead of buying a new charger for an old model, I figured it was time to update. I decided to stick with DeWalt, and I can say that I am satisfied with my purchase. I went with the brush-less combo set, a little more expensive, but I plan to keep this set for anther 18 years! I've used both Dewalt and Milwaukee and in my opinion they do the same task but since I have never had an issue with DeWalt I stayed loyal.... If you don't get a little twitch when you pull the trigger on these tools, something is wrong with you. (insert "Tim the Tool Man" Grunt). Chris

One thing I'd like to echo

Posted by minderbinder on 2022 Aug 7th

My husband loves this tool set, and he goes through a lot of tools. One thing I'd like to echo, though...that saw is "left handed." There is no right-handed version of the saw this size, only the smaller one. Even the DeWalt customer service guys don't seem to know this. He drove the considerable distance from our home to their Tampa outlet, and they swore they could exchange his left-handed saw for a right-handed one. I told him that everything I was finding online said that no such thing existed, but they were pretty insistent. Five days later, replacement saw arrived, same left-handed saw. If you can handle that (my husband decided that he could), it's a great set of tools.

    Right Hand Vs. Left Hand

Posted by CADcliff on 2022 Aug 7th

There is some discussion about the DCS570 Circular Saw in this kit. Some are making a complaint about a "right handed" verses "left handed" saw. I'm not sure some people are using the saw correctly. For a "right handed" saw, this is the correct (and safest) procedure. Put the work piece across two saw horses. Stand in front of the work piece. Hold the work piece in place with your left hand, or left knee etc. Hold the saw with your right hand. Place the saw motor part of the base on the part of the work piece you are keeping. Cut the work piece you are holding, and let the cut-off piece fall to the ground. The motor side of the saw base, the largest flat surface should always rest on the stable fully supported work piece, never on the cut-off piece which will bend down as the cut completes. If you cut like this. this saw is a right handed saw. A saw made to be held by the right hand, and used by a right handed person. A left handed saw would have the motor base on the right side of the blade, so it could sit on the work piece to the left of the person holding the piece. That person would hold the saw in their left hand. Please be safe, and don't be confused. This is a right handed saw.

    Dooooooo iiiiiit

Got this for my birthday. It is in December, my wife got this in a Black Friday deal. What an upgrade to the brushless system. I chose to get the hammer drill because I think it will come in handy down the line, and I’m a big guy so I don’t mind the weight. Also, I have other drills I can grab if I’m doing a big project. The tools are amazing, the impact gun is Very lightweight, and had amazing capability. The 1 setting is gentle enough to install drawer slide screws, while the 3 could drive a dull screw through Captain America’s shield without hesitation. The hammer drill is heavy as others have mentioned, but the hammer function may be something I need one day, and worth it. I have other drills that I could use if I felt this one getting too heavy for a project. Sawzall is beefy, and you can put the blade in at almost any direction. Saw is the “lefty” version, but I’m a lefty, so I finally get a tool made for me. The multi tool is the smoothest, nicest multi tool I have yet to put my hands on. The throttle sensitive trigger allows you to obtain an accuracy previously thought unattainable with such a violent, independently minded tool. Finally the light, what can I say, it turns on, and you can see more than you could before, unless you were staring at the bulb when you turned it on, then you can’t see anything for 5 minutes. My recommendation, get the brushless even if you don’t think you need it, they are great tools, and the extended battery life is so important.
